Frequently Asked Questions

What is your style? Our style is creative but simple. Our deepest desire is for our pictures to convey the relationships and emotions taking place in front of our cameras. Therefore, we strive to capture your special moments as naturally as possible, but also believe in artistic posing when the opportunity presents itself.

How long will it be until we see our images? Digital files are available within eight weeks of the wedding date or within four weeks of portrait photo-shoots.

How many images will we get? The number of photographs taken depends on many things - the number of guests, hours of coverage, types of events. You can generally expect at least 30 images per hour of shooting.

Do you do stylized shoots? Absolutely!  They are our favorite. Use our contact page and we can talk more.

Do you work with an assistant? Yes; my husband, Alex, is my wonderful assistant. He is the cherry on top of booking a photo-shoot with Skilight Photography - just look at those smiles!

Do you do destination weddings? Yes; travel is billed very simply- if airfare/hotel/rental car are needed you are responsible for a direct reimbursement for the charges.

Do you edit or re-touch the photos? All photos receive basic editing, and in-depth re-touching is available for an extra fee.
